Since July 28, 2009 my family and I have been going to Purok 6, Sitio Mahabang Parang in Angono, Rizal.

There, we have begun to take the spiritual reins of a small church that has been in existence for quite some time now but whose pastor has decided to leave it to go join another church. Go figure.

When I first came there to preach, there were only a handful of people, mostly relatives of my wife. You see, Purok 6 is where most of the Parom clan have relocated. (My wife's maiden name is Rosalina Parom.)

Last Sunday, we were blessed to see the Lord beginning to bring in some of the spiritual harvest. Several parents of the church's school Joyland Playhouse and Learning Center, attended the service as part of their Parent-Teacher Interaction. The school hosts a monthly Spiritual Emphasis Sunday for the parents. Hence, the increase in attendance.

Happily, after the service, some of the parents indicated their interest to come and attend the church more regularly. Some of them gave their hearts to God for the first time.

It is a joy for me and my family to get to work together as a ministry team. This service saw my wife welcoming officially welcoming the parents to the service, being the school's Directress. Jesi Rose led worship while Charles Keith and I played beatbox and guitar, respectively. And Josh took pictures.
